Rhythmic Academy of Los Angeles is finalizing the enrollment for the 2016 Rhythmic Intensive Summer Camp. This will be our 4th year hosting this world camp that will run from June 13th to August 5th for 8 INTENSE camp sessions. Are you ready to see your child transform in to a high level Rhythmic Gymnast and reach her full potential? Our program has been carefully designed to maximize technical growth by breaking down our normal high intensive practice into 1 hour skill development segments to concentrate and achieve ideal technical results.

Your daughter will be transformed… she will leave our camp stronger, better conditioned and a lot more skilled. Over the last few years our program has achieved RADICAL results, past camp attendees are winning major competitions and many have achieved routine scores increases by 4 to 5 points.
Camp is held at our world class Rhythmic Gymnastics training facility in Van Nuys, CA that features an "air-conditioned" gymnasium with 4 full size RG carpets, a 40 foot ceiling, mirrors, a ballet room, a new conditioning fitness center and workshop classrooms.
A typical full day camp will include 4 hours of morning practice consisting of morning cardio conditioning, deep stretching, choreography and ballet, body development and element training sessions. Followed by a hot lunch and 1 to 2 hours of education/classroom and creative workshops. The 3 to 4 hours of afternoon practice will consists of equipment handling and body mastery, advanced element training and creative dance classes. Training regiments are very intensive and based on Eastern European methods that historically has developed world class Rhythmic Gymnasts.
We've assembles a great team of world class coaches and instructors, and developed a complete Rhythmic Gymnastics training curriculum. Our camp goal is to develop the athlete on every level... technically, physically, artistically, physiologically and emotionally. Most important create a fun, safe and memorable summer experience.
We currently have 14 coaches and guest instructors on staff including Region 1 coach of the year Galyna Shyrkina the 2005 World Championship silver medalist and one of the top coaches in America, Alina Maksymenko two-time Olympian and 2013 World Championship Clubs Bronze Medalist, 2 X Olympian and World Champion Natalia Godunko, the 2011 World Championship All-around bronze medalist and 2 X Olympian Aliya Garayeva,
Ellina Tregubova former Russian champion and World Cup prizewinner and member of the Russian national team, Marina Mazor the 3 time US National Champion and 2013 Region 1 level 9 coach of the Year, Larisa Onica former National and Olympic reserve coach of Transnistrian Moldovian National Team and many other highly accredited coaches and instructors.
2016 Rhythmic Intensive Coaching Staff:
Galyna Shyrkina (Head Coach)
Ukrainian National Champion and Silver Medalist at the 2005 World Championships. Galyna is curently one of the top and rising coaches in the United States.
Ellina Tregubova (Russia)
Russian National Champion and former member of the Russian National Team (Individual & senior group) and winner of many national and international competitions.
Alina Maksymenko (Ukraine)
2 X Olympian and World Champion Bronze Medalist Alina Maksymenko and is considered one of the most technically skilled and artistically gifted Rhythmic Gymnast in the history of Rhythmic Gymnastics.
Natalia Godunko (Ukraine)
2 X Olympian and World Champion Natalia Godunko who is considered one of the best and most technically skilled Rhythmic Gymnast that has ever competed in Rhythmic Gymnastics.
Aliya Garayeva (Russia/Azerbaijan)
The 2011 World Championship All-around bronze medalist and 2 X Olympian in London and Beijing, winner of many national and international competitions and one of the most decorated Rhythmic Gymnast in the world!
Marina Mazor (USA)
Member of Soviet and USA National Team, becoming a 3 X USA National Champion. In 2013 Marina became US Region 1 coach of the year for level 9’s and is considered one the top coaches in America.
Elmira Bululukova (Uzbekistan)
Former member of the Uzbekistan National Team (Individual & Senior group) and an Olympic reserve coach and personal friend of legendary coach Irina Viner with over 25 years coaching experience.
Larisa Onica (Transnistria/Moldova)
Former National and Olympic reserve coach of Transnistrian Moldovian National Team. Over the span of 25 years Mrs. Onica has trained & developed numerous winners of regional, national & international competitions.
Askar Kettebekovv - Ballet (Russia/Kazakhstan)
Trained in the Russian Vaganova method and having studied with ballet Russian masters, Askar received his dance training from the world renowned National Ballet School of Kazakhstan with a degree in ballet pedagogy and choreography. Considered one of the most technically skilled and effective ballet instructors in the United States.
Ylena Gerasimova (Russia)
A high level Rhythmic Gymnastics coach with over 23 years coaching experience. Between 1972 and 1978 Mrs. Gerasimova was a member of the powerful Soviet National Team, participating and prizewinning in numerous World Cup Championships and international competition.
Benjahmin Ellis (USA)
Former US National Tumbling Champion and member of the US Acro National team, Ben bring a vast amount of athletic and coaching experience. Specializes is Rhythmic and Traditional Gymnastics training, contortion and flexibility development and extreme body conditioning.
Nicole Mezheritsky (USA)
Level 9 California State Champion and Member of the Region 1 Junior Olympic team.
Malika Azizova (Russia)
Master of Sports in Rhythmic Gymnastics and Candidate Master of Sports in gymnastics Aesthetic prizewinner of many national and international competitions.
Maximum of 8 to 10 athletes (by age and skill level) will be assigned to a team and each group will rotate among all coaches through the camp curriculum to get maximum training benefit. Each curriculum class will last between 45 to 60 minutes.

Space is limited to 100 campers per session and full day campers will have enrollment priority. All athletes from other clubs are Welcomed!
Full Day Camp cost is $400 per week + some field trip costs. Includes supervised instruction from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, one field trip, a camp t-shirt, training manual, a healthy hot lunch catered by a local Russian restaurant and an amazing training experience. Our Full Day camp is recommended for competitive Rhythmic Gymnast ages 7 and up. (limited to 80 athletes per week) - 47.5 hours per week
3-Day Camp cost is $300 per week. Includes supervised instruction from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM Monday, Wednesday and Friday, one field trip, a camp t-shirt, training manual, a healthy hot lunch catered by a local Russian restaurant and an amazing training experience. (limited to 25 athletes per week) - 28.5 hours per week
2-Day Camp cost is $250 per week. Includes supervised instruction from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM Tuesday and Thursday, a camp t-shirt, training manual, a healthy hot lunch catered by a local Russian restaurant and an amazing training experience. (limited to 25 athletes per week) - 19 weekly hours
Half Day Camp is available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM for $225 per week. Includes supervised instruction, a camp t-shirt and a training manual. This camp is less intense as our full day and is great for younger athletes, ages 5 and up are welcomed. (limited to 20 athletes per week) - 12 hours per week
We offer a 15% Family Discount for additional siblings and 10% OFF for paid-in-full 8 week sessions. Parents will have the option of paying weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or in-full for all registered sessions. Final camp registration and tuition is due before May 15th 2016.
