No guests allowed. Delegations are asked to keep delegation numbers to the minimum.
"All participants choosing to participate in an event are responsible for their own health- and travel- related risks. If a person is sent to quarantine (either due to a positive Covid19 diagnosis or due to having been close to a person diagnosed with Covid19), all occurring costs (accommodation, meals, transfers, further tests, medical costs, etc.) are at the responsibility of the person resp. the delegation."
"European Championships LOCs must carry out a risk assessment in cooperation with local stakeholders, such as local and regional public health authorities."
Detailed guidelines are released in case of someone testing positive. In case of testing positive at the Europeans, "All members of the country’s delegation must be isolated in the hotel and be observed for
symptoms related to Covid19."
EVERY accredited person must hand in a negative COVID-19 PCR test result that is not older than 2 days prior arrival. Everyone working at the venue shall have a negative PCR test.
There will be a COVID-19 test site in or near the venue. All persons involved in the European Championships have a mandatory test during their stay (in the middle of their stay), and everyone covers the costs for their own health.
Athletes and delegation members will have a health status check daily for 14 days before and during the event.
Temperature of every person entering will be measured. Anyone with a temperature over 37.5 C must report immediately to the LOC medical centre.IN TRAINING AND ON THE FIELD OF PLAY
Use of masks in the venue is MANDATORY for ALL accredited persons, except for gymnasts during competition, training and warm-up.
Judges and competition management staff can change the mask to a protective face shield while they are judging. If they leave the table, they must wear masks.
Gymnasts are responsible to observe social distancing. They need to wear masks if they are not training or entering the field of play to compete.
Sharing equipment (especially water bottles and tumblers) is prohibited
People older than 65, expectant mothers, people with moderate to severe asthma, chronic lung disease, serious heart conditions, immunocompromised, severe obesity, diabetes, liver or oncological disease, or people living in a nursing home or long-term care facility are recommended not to participate. If they do, they are recommended to take more careful precautions.
Delegations are kept apart as much as possible. Team seating will be made with social distancing.
No coaches are allowed to the kiss and cry, only gymnasts.
Technical and judge table setup: 1.5 m social distancing where possible. Masks or face shields are mandatory.
